Shipping Information for Canada and International Customers

** NOTE: We are only shipping domestically (USA Only) at this time. We WILL BE opening up International Shipping in the future. Thank you for your patience while we return back to normal greenhouse expectations internationally.

Canadian Shipping

Shipments into Canada are strictly at CUSTOMER'S RISK ONLY! Due to Rules and Regulations set by your Department of Agriculture, we can only ship plants without roots attached. Because this is such a tedious and time-consuming task, we charge $1.00 per plant for this service. So we will cut off all roots and make sure the crowns are free of any soil. You will need to re-root the crowns. We also suggest propagating a couple of the leaves from the crown, in case you lose the crown in propagation.

A phytosanitary certificate is required by the Canadian Department of Agriculture for plants to enter Canada from the United States. Each order is inspected, just prior to shipping, by our Federal inspectors, and a phytosanitary certificate is issued.

All orders are sent by United States Postal Service Express Mail, during the summer shipping season only. (No winter shipping available.) Your order is guaranteed by the USPS to arrive in your country within 24 hours of shipment. Once they reach this point, we no longer have control over your package. Sorry, we cannot be held responsible, nor will we replace orders damaged, delayed, or lost, either by your customs department or by your postal system.

Shipping Charges

The basic shipping & handling charge on all Canadian orders is $25.00. Add a plant preparation fee of $1.00 per plant (for removal of soil & roots - no charge for leaves) Add USPS Express Mail postage of $50.00 (for up to 20 plants). For each additional plant (over the first 20 plants) add $1.50 per plant. Lastly, add the $65.00 fee for the phytosanitary certificate.

All fees and charges are in U.S. dollars. MasterCard and Visa are the preferred method of payment!

(Personal checks are not accepted.)

International Shipping

Shipments to overseas countries are strictly at CUSTOMER'S RISK ONLY! All "import permits" required by your country must be sent to us before we can ship your order. Each order is inspected, just prior to shipping, by our Federal inspectors, and a phytosanitary certificate is issued. We ship plants or leaves of African violets. All other types of plants will be sent in the form of crowns, cuttings, tubers, or rhizomes, depending upon the requirements of your country.

Most countries require that the soil and roots be removed from plants prior to shipping. Because this is such a tedious and time-consuming task, we charge $1.00 per plant for this service. We must conform to your country's regulations regarding this matter. Do not ask us to leave roots on the plants if your country requires them to be removed. Please list any special requirements mandated by your country.
