Kohlerias
Kohlerias are rhizomatous plants from tropical America, and range from small to large growing plants. Flowers are easily produced in clusters, are tubular, pouched-shaped with spots about the face, and come in a variety of colors. New growth will sprout before the old growth is completely dead. Rhizomes like room to grow in a loose, airy potting mix. Let dry between watering to encourage rhizomatous growth. Kohlerias require around 12 hours of good bright light, even some sun, to promote compact growth and flowering.
