Welcome to our African Violet Website! We are pleased to present to you, our newest introductions for 2011! As always, we have included many of our favorite, older varieties of violets, as well as varieties from other hybridizers too! We offer many types of gesneriads, as well as some other choice, exotic and unusual "companion plants". A small selection of terrarium plants is also offered. This website is our "MAIN" catalog offering most of the varieties we grow in our greenhouses. We do offer a printed version of our catalog. It is a "limited" size catalog, mostly of our new varieties, and some of our more popular varieties from previous years. It has some pictures, mostly of our new introductions! If you would like a copy, or know someone who would (and doesn't have access to the WEB), you can order one for them! We do charge $3.00 for our New catalog.
We are continually working to enhance our site, and adding more color photographs as you have requested! At this time there are three ways to place an order with us: #1-View the site, choose your selections, and phone us with your order at 315-429-8291, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4PM (EST). #2-Print out the order forms from the "Button Bar" on the left, that's titled "Ordering/Shipping" fill them out, and mail them to us. #3-You can also fill out a "submittable" web order form, from the "Button Bar" on the left, that's titled "Ordering/Shipping"

Plant Sales schedule is as follows: Friday (20th) - 9am to 5pm For you "violet enthusiasts" who are not yet members of AVSA, we invite you to come see the show. You can also visit the AVSA membership table and learn what the organization is all about. You are invited to come and see the show, with the hundreds of violets, gesneriads and design entries! If you have never been to an african violet show & competition before, you will be amazed! The Gesneriad Society will hold it's 2011 annual show and plant sale this July 7th, 8th and 9th, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It will be held at the Loew's Philadelphia Hotel, located at 1200 Market Street. (Phone # 215-627-1200) Our plants (among others) will be available for sale to the public. Plant Sales schedule is as follows: Thursday (7th) - 9:30pm to 11:00pm Stop by and see the show and sales room where you can purchase a wide variety of Gesneriads and African Violets.
For those of you who are considering placing an order with us for the first time, rest assured we are a nationally known and trusted company. We ship plants all over the world, with one goal in mind, to provide you with top of the line varieties, most of which are developed right here in our greenhouses. Order with confidence, knowing that your plants will be properly handled and packed, by our staff, with the greatest care. Our greenhouses are filled with an even larger selection of African violets and gesneriads, plus many other exotic houseplants and orchids too numerous to list. Where else can you learn more about African violets? The best place is the African Violet Society of America, Inc. For just $30.00 to cover annual dues, you can join AVSA. With your membership, you will receive 6 colorful magazines filled with growing information, along with color photographs of selected cultivars, and continuous information on the latest developments in the African violet world. Join one of the largest plant societies devoted to the African violet. You'll be glad you did! AVSA also has a wonderful web site you can visit at
