We are now shipping plants until cold weather returns, around the first of November. As stated on our "General Information Page", orders placed during May, and prior months, may take up to 4 to 6 weeks to be delivered, due to the fact we have been collecting orders since January, and do not ship during the winter months. Customers that order early in the year, get "in line" first, and those orders are sent first, when we start shipping! Once we are "caught up" with those orders (usually by the end of JUNE) we ship incoming orders out right away.

Welcome to our African Violet Website! We are pleased to present to you, this year, our newest introductions for 2008! As always, we have included many of our favorite, older varieties of violets, as well as varieties from other hybridizers too! We offer many types of gesneriads, as well as some other choice, exotic and unusual "companion plants". A small selection of terrarium plants is also offered. This website is our "MAIN" catalog offering most of the varieties we grow in our greenhouses. We do offer a printed version of our catalog. It is a "limited" size catalog, mostly of our new 2008 varieties, and some of our more popular varieties from previous years. It has some pictures, mostly of our new introductions! If you would like a copy, or know someone who would (and doesn't have access to the WEB), you can order one for them! We do charge $3.00 for our New 2008 catalog. We still have a small amount leftover of our 2006 and 2007 supplements. We charge $2.00 a piece for these. They make a nice reference source. If you have ordered from us within the past 4 years, you will automatically receive the 2008 catalog in the mail. (No need to send a request for one!) We usually send it out in the mail sometime around mid-March.
We are continually working to enhance this site, and add more color photographs as you have requested! At this time there are three ways to place an order with us: #1-View the site, choose your selections, and phone us with your order at 315-429-8291, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4PM (EST). #2-Print out the order forms from the "Button Bar" on the left, that's titled "Mail-in Order Forms" fill them out, and mail them to us. #3-You can also fill out a "submittable" web order form, from the "Button Bar" on the left, that's titled "Mail-in Order Forms"

The 2008 African Violet Society of America (AVSA) convention and show, will take place this May 29th, 30th, and 31st in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It will be held at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel, located at 6808 South 107th East Avenue. The hotel phone number is (918) 307-2600. Be sure to come and visit us in the commercial sales room/area. We would love to see you! For you "violet enthusiasts" who are not yet members of AVSA, we invite you to come see the show on Friday and Saturday, May 30th and 31st, when it is open to the public. You can also visit the AVSA membership table and learn what AVSA is all about.You are invited to come and see the show, with all the african violets, gesneriads and design entries! If you have never been to an african violet show & competition before, you will be amazed!!!

Our greenhouses are filled with an even larger selection of African violets and gesneriads, plus many other exotic houseplants and orchids too numerous to list. Where else can you learn more about African violets? The best place is the African Violet Society of America, Inc. For just $30.00 to cover annual dues, you can join AVSA. With your membership, you will receive 6 colorful magazines filled with growing information, along with color photographs of selected cultivars, and continuous information on the latest developments in the African violet world. Join one of the largest plant societies devoted to the African violet. You'll be glad you did! AVSA also has a wonderful web site you can visit at
