Chimeras: A very special breed of African violet. These plants can only be propagated by suckers. They cannot be propagated by leaves, so please do not order them by leaves! Plants available only! Color patterns and color combinations are unique. All plants are guaranteed to bloom true.

Semidouble fuchsia ruffled star with a white stripe, and a white-green edge. Medium green, quilted, ruffled. Standard foliage. AVSA Reg. #9708 Very large, crystal white stars, with side stripes of medium blue. The flower edges are lightly frilled. A standard grower, the medium green foliage is variegated, with beige and light green, mostly on the leaf edge. (LLG) Royal purple center stripes, top pastel lavender ruffled stars. This majestic center stripe is patterned with light and dark dashes of either lavender or purple. The fluffy large blossoms are semidouble to double, and grace symmetrical dark foliage. This excellent bloomer is surely the 'Queen of Chimeras'. Standard AVSA Reg. #10222 Large, snowy white double and semidouble stars are edged with pink, which is speckled with blue fantasy. Very large, standard leaves, are variegated in ivory and light green on the leaf edges, atop medium green, wavy foliage. AVSA Reg. #9169 A sport of "Halo's Aglitter". Single, sticktite stars of white, with pink stripes, and a fuchsia edge. Medium green, plain foliage that is pointed and serrated. AVSA Reg. #9280 These are what we refer to as "Leaf Chimeras". Just as regular chimeras can't be propagated from leaves, the same holds true for these, in order to maintain the unusual leaf pattern! Semidouble, medium blue pansies, with a white eye, usually extending out to the petal edges. (White color is more pronounced with cooler temperatures!) Standard foliage, with unusual variegated pattern! (unknown) Unique and Different! This little cutie has semidouble pansies of white, with blue center stripes. The top petals are capped with lots of green, and the bottom petals have a pencil line edge of blue. The flower edges are nicely ruffled. The semiminiature foliage is medium green. This variety definitely has "show" potential! AVSA Reg. #9929 Medium lavender/pink stars are accented by lavender stripes in the petal center. Blue fantasy is randomly splashed on each flowers face. The medium green standard foliage is slightly wavy. (LLG) The single, fuchsia, pansy shaped flowers are center striped in white, and are decorated with a frilled edge. The standard growing foliage is medium green and quilted. AVSA Reg. #5888 Blue center stripes rest upon white, semiminiature pansies, which are flecked with white fantasy. Medium green foliage is lightly variegated. This variety is a sport of "Little Streaker". (LLG) A sport of Mac's Luxurious Leisure, a little "show-off" of a plant! The dark fuchsia, semiminiature "stars", are outlined with a fringed edge. The white center stripe, is accented, by the "ivory" in the variegation. Medium green leaves are quilted and serrated. (McDonald) A sport of Mac's Circus Clown, a wonderful variety itself! Large, coral-red, single and semi-double pansies. The flower face is sprayed with dark blue fantasy markings over the top of the violet-blue center stripe. A good bloomer, with medium green, standard foliage, that is quilted, and grows symmetrically. (McDonald) Pink, single and semidouble pansies are slightly cupped. (Ness) Small, white, double stars are pinwheel striped on the sides in fuchsia. These sweet blossoms form above medium green, semiminiature foliage, variegated in white. AVSA Reg. #7647 Delicate, soft pink semidouble pansies are striped in light mauve in the center of each petal. Within each stripe is a flurry of light blue fantasy markings. The beauty of this blossom is enhanced by deep green show foliage, heavily variegated in cream and tan shades. AVSA Reg. #8537 Soft pink, single and semidouble pansy with purple/blue center stripe. Standard foliage, variegated with cream; shapes nicely. AVSA Reg. #9945 Medium pink, frilly, semidouble pansies are center striped in velvety blue. The excellent show foliage is deep green, variegated in white, cream and tan tones, sporting a red reverse. A lovely sport of 'Traces'. A magnificent variety that grows perfectly, every time! AVSA Reg. #8545 What a charmer this semiminiature is! Awarded "Best New Cultivar" at the 1997 Mid Atlantic African Violet Society Convention, and we think you'll agree, it is the tops! White, double stars are center striped in red and skirted in a halo of semiminiature, medium green foliage, variegated in white. (LLG) Soft blush pink, pinwheel stripes, accent striking red outer petals. The adorable, pansy shaped, stick-tite single blossoms, are also veined with a light red overlay. This redhead holds her smiling face nicely above medium green, variegated leaves, which are outlined in cream. Semiminiature. AVSA Reg. #10238 This adorable, compact miniature trailer with medium green foliage, is covered with white bell-shaped flowers that are striped with medium blue on the petal edges. This little gem puts on a big show with continuous blooming and excellent trailing habits. AVSA Reg. #7590 [Pronounced: Kay-Ray] We think this one is a breakthrough to the violet world! A combination of a chimera and a thumbprint, as special and unique as the little girl it's named after, "Katrina Rei". Perfect white, single stars that are beautifully painted with a carnation pink thumbprint, which is adorned with a blue center stripe, unbelievable! The standard foliage is medium green and heavily quilted. (Gifford) Very full, double pansies of coral pink with a blue center stripe on each petal, and accented with a small amount of blue fantasy flecks. The flower edges are lightly frilled. This variety is a good bloomer, with dark green, lightly quilted, semiminiature foliage. AVSA Reg. #9541 A dark shade of hot coral, single and semidouble stars, are boldly striped in purple in the petal centers, and flecked in purple fantasy. Eye-popping color that is stunning, over medium to deep green foliage, variegated in cream and white. The compact growing foliage sports a red reverse upon maturity. A sport of 'Sparks Fly'. (LLG) Single, light fuchsia/pink, "wasp" stars, with heavily fringed edges, and white, center stripes. The slightly wavy foliage is dark green with ivory variegation mostly on the leaf edge. This variety is a sport of Vintage Lace and is a good grower. AVSA Reg. #9535 StrikingPink, semidouble stars, with lavender center stripes. The petals are also surrounded by a very generous raspberry border, and ends with a very slight, white edge. The standard foliage is medium green, with a red backing.
